Встреча на вечеринке (прямая речь)
One Christmas Alice went to a party. She didn't have anyone to talk to, so she decided to mingle and approached a man. "Hello," she said, "my name is Alice." "Mine is Rob. Nice to meet you," the man answered. "What do you do for a living?" She asked. "I work in banking," he answered. Alice immediately felt bored, as she disliked talking to bankers. "Oh, that's interesting," she said insincerely. "Would you like something to drink?" She asked. "Sure, I'd like a glass of champagne," Rob responded. Alice went to fetch two glasses of champagne and returned to the man. "Here you go," she said. "Thank you," he answered. "You know," Rob continued, "I feel that I have met you before." At first Alice thought it was silly of the man to say this, but then she realized he was right. "I also feel that I have met you before," she said. Before long they were involved in a very interesting conversation. "It's so surprising," Alice thought to herself, "I really do feel that I have met this man before." "Where did you go to university?" She asked him. "At Yale, class of 2000." "Me too!" Alice exclaimed. It turned out that they had studied together at the same university, and maybe they had seen each other many times, but they had never exchanged words.

Алиса тут же почувствовала себя скучающей, поскольку ей не нравилось разговаривать с банкирами. "О, это интересно", - сказала она не
